Way out West 2015

14-16 August

It’s been a couple of weeks, but it was, as always, an amazing festival. Maybe not only because of the amazing artists on stage, but because of the great friends we have in Gothenburg. We’re eternally grateful for the yearly Bourbon Breakfast at Thomas’ and Susanna’s flat, which usually makes us forget and skip several artists in Slottsskogen. But this year we all wanted to see Mr Father Johan Misty, with his ironic heartfelt lyrics, his hips and his rage against people in the audience with cellphones in the air. Truly amazing. Our favourite music moments this year was with, Florence and the Machine, Amazon, War on Drugs, Future Islands, Deportees, Belle and Sebastian and Alt-J. As always this festival means good friends, good beer (Johan), good veggie food (it’s an all veggie festival) and good music. Next year is their 10th anniversary and we’ll be there.
