We jumped on an early train to Brighton and then hopped on a bus to Seven Sisters National Park (takes between 45min-60min depending on traffic). The name coms from the fact that the park basically consist of seven cliffs, which steeps sharply into the sea. We started out in the western end of the park and then walked along the shore, ascending and descending all seven of the Sisters, until we reached Birling Gap where we caught the bus back to Brighton.
It is a very beautiful place to walk, with the white cliffs and the views of the ocean on one side and the rolling green hills of the English countryside on the other. We didn’t have the time during this visit, but for next time we plan to continue walking along the coast, which will eventually take us to Beachy Head and Eastbourne.
We finished the day with a nice dinner in Brighton before taking the train back to London.
