Regents Canal and Thames walk

posted in: London | 0

On Sunday we did another walk, let’s call it our water-walk : )
We walked from our home in Dalston and as we reached Regents Canal we walked along the canal towards the Thames. Parts of the way was very familiar to us as it is part of our running routes and also on the way to Victoria Park, but after passing the park most of the walk was new to us and it was great to discover some┬ánew neighborhoods. As we reached the Thames we walked along the “Thames Walk Way” and stopped for lunch at Captain Kidd, a cozy pub with “sea view”. When we finally reached Tower Bridge we turned north and continued through The City and ended our walk in Shoreditch. It was a 14 km walk that we’d be happy to do again.
